2010 U15- U19 Classic Tryout Information

Tryout Registrations are now being accepted for the U15-U19 Competitive Winter Season.

ESUFC U15 - U19 Winter Classic Team tryouts are on Monday, August 9th and Tuesday August 10th, 2010, Gradin Sports Park, 2303 SE Palmquist Rd., Gresham, OR. Bring water, a light and a dark shirt, – do not wear any club uniforms that are not ESUFC. We strongly recommend players attend both of the tryout sessions.

Our Classic program provides higher levels of training and competition to those players of above average ability and level of commitment. Our Premier Soccer program provides an educational and competitive environment that consistently produces some of the most mentally, physically, technically and tactically accomplished soccer players in Oregon, USYSA Region IV, and the nation. We prepare our players to be recognized by collegiate and Olympic Development Programs for their superior quality of play, knowledge and ability to articulate the game, sportsmanship, and passion for the sport.

For the 2010.11 season, our U15-U18 girls teams will be participating in the Northwest Champions League (NWCL) and the boys will be participating in the Western College Development Academy (WCDA).

All tryout participants must check-in at the designated registration table before each tryout. Please arrive at least thirty minutes prior to your scheduled tryout time to receive your tryout number and tryout updates. For those participants that have not pre-registered, check-in will take slightly longer as your paperwork will need to be processed . Pre-Registration is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you have not played for EastSide United FC you must bring a copy of the player’s proof of birth. This can be a birth certificate, passport or driver’s license.

Every year we form at least two teams in each age group and depending on the number of players at each age group, we will form third teams or even combine age groups in an effort to provide a playing opportunity to all interested players.

ESUFC TRYOUT FEE:

The Winter Classic Tryout Fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) and includes and ESUFC training T-shirt. A $5.00 discount is given for early online registration and $30 payment made on-line by Thursday, August 5th, 2010 (please do not mail in registration form after Wednesday, August 4th). PLAYER NOTIFICATION

Within 24 hours of the final try-out, players will be notified by either phone or email about their placement on a team. Players who are not selected will also receive a phone call or email. In your e-mail notification, you will be instructed to log onto the internet and access your club member account at www.esufc.net/registration/login.php.  After logging into your member account, please read the email regarding your placement on a team and follow the instructions on the email.

In addition to this, parents and/or players are welcome to call the ESUFC office (503-667-8312) after the completion of their final tryout. Please call during the office hours of 10:00 am & 2:00 pm.

PARENT MEETING

For players that make a team, there will be a mandatory player/parent club and college informational meeting – Date, Time and Location to be decided.
